There is no other lubricating and cleaning oil in the world that guarantees such a wide range of properties and applications for firearms.

The creation of RAND nanoparticle infused lubricants was preceded by a period of more than 7 years of research and development work conducted by an international team of scientists who have been awarded over 120 patents in the United States.

LABORATORY EXAMINATIONS

RAND CLP offers the lowest friction point that is close to zero on the market. This is an unprecedented result which has not been achieved so far by any other product of its kind. The coefficient of friction of Rand lubricant was tested at the end of the year 2011 and at the beginning of 2012 in the US using a Falex Four Ball Wear machine.

During the tests it was found that not only were our friction levels considerably low, but also 60% lower than our closest competitors that use nanotechnology.

Within one hour, the coefficient of friction dropped to 0.017 – which is the lowest measure RAND could find in scientific literature. Another test was evaluation of friction reduction technology of RAND lubricants using the Vee Block and Pin machine. The result of this test and the tests preceding it is a confirmation that by covering metal with our product, you can achieve surprisingly effective results – protection against wear and tear, rust, dirt, jamming, sticking and creaking.

NANOTECHNOLOGY

Combining the power of a vegetable ester base with a blend of nanoparticles, including boron (which has the characteristic of pulling heat from metal), we have obtained a product that stops heating of metal. This ensures a significant improvement in firearm performance during use.

RAND lubricant’s nanoparticles penetrate the micro-grooves and micro-cracks in the metal parts of weapons, smoothing and creating a perfectly even surface. Lubricating the metal parts of firearms with RAND CLP lubricant makes them moving smoothly and operating effectively.

Nanoparticles form a tenacious bond with the metal of your firearm, creating a long lasting film that does not dry out like typical lubricants. That is one of the properties that other products available on the market lack – they only work on the surface (wash out and dry out).

RAND CLP is non-toxic and odorless. The product is based on the natural vegetable oils.

Our lubricant has an optimal level of viscosity – not too low, and not too high. The product will not gum up your firearm. A pistol RAND CLP was applied on after several weeks still remains “wet/lubed” with zero jams/malfunctions.

TESTS

RAND CLP lubricant remains full reliability at temperatures even below -40°C.

Our product had been researched and tested for many months by Military Institute of Armament Technology (MIAT), gaining a positive opinion and meeting high-reliability criteria.

One of the experts testing the product was Kyle E. Lamb, the founder and CEO of Viking Tactics. Kyle, a Special Forces soldier, took part in, among others, the operation in Mogadishu (Somalia) on October 3-4, 1993 – which was portrayed in the movie “Black Hawk Down” (2001).

Before Kyle put the Viking Tactics stamp on the bottle, he not only put the CLP through hard use in classes, he studied the science behind it.

“I have learned a lot in the last 6 months about lubrication for weapons. RAND doesn’t have chlorinated paraffin like many weapons lubes. Chlorinated paraffin is made for cutting and is very corrosive, yet many CLP manufacturers put it in their potion. Not smart if you want to truly maintain your weapons.” K.E.L.

Our customers also observed that their weapon cleans itself by expelling the carbon deposit through the barrel during firing. This is extremely important if we want to make sure that our weapon does not stop working in the most unexpected moment.
